NOOBA Simple Ranking System (Best-of-Three Format)

1. The Basics

• Every match = Best 2 out of 3 games.

• Win a Match = 2 Ranking Points

• Lose a Match = 1 Ranking Point

• Forfeit a Match = 0 Ranking Points

👉 This way, everyone who shows up and competes still gets a point, but winning matters more.

2. Tracking Per Match

For each player:

• Games Played (GP) = number of matches played (not individual games).

• Wins (W) = matches won (by taking 2 out of 3).

• Losses (L) = matches lost.

• Forfeits (F) = matches forfeited.

• Points For (PF) = total points scored across all games played.

• Points Against (PA) = total points conceded across all games played.

3. Tie-Breakers

If players have the same Ranking Points:

1. Point Differential (PD) = PF − PA (higher is better).

2. Points For (PF) – rewards offensive scoring.

3. Head-to-Head Result (if they played each other).

4. Most Matches Played (GP) – rewards participation
